Nestled in the heart of the Cisse Valley and on the edge of the Blois national forest, Le Prieuré is located near the great royal castles of the Loire Valley. In this building, originally built in the 11th century, the authenticity of the place is subtly combined with the comfort and modernity of the equipment. Le Prieuré offers 2 rooms and 2 family suites with character, for a total capacity of 12. Both quiet and spacious, each has a private bathroom (bathtub or shower), and toilet. The newly renovated ensemble provides a calm and luxurious atmosphere.
Its botanical garden covering nearly 3 hectares, with more than 2000 different plant species, invites you to dream and relax.
A place of history
Le Prieuré and its Roman bell tower, were built in 1060 by the monks of Marmoutier. The whole, damaged during the Hundred Years War, was rebuilt in the 15th century and then remodeled in the 19th century, (when it acquired its current appearance.)
Finally, completely renovated and modernized in 2015, it combines modern comfort and old world charm.
Hubert Treuille, father of the current owner, passionate about botany and great traveler, brought together more than 2000 different plant species from all over the world.
The park, Accessible to guests of Le Prieure, is a place conducive to relaxation and reverie.

Sur plus de 3 hectares vous trouverez plus de 2400 espèces venant du monde entier mais aussi "des classiques" : pivoines, roses, cèdre bicentenaire ou encore rhododendrons. le jardin est ouvert tous les jours oendant la "Fete des Pivoines " du 22 avril 2023 au 29 mai 2023. en dehors de ces dates, le jardin est ouvert sur rendez vous par appel au 0614931527
